Jet Ski Licence

Don’t be the one caught without your licence!

Jet Ski Licence

It is an offence in Qld to drive a Jet Ski without a licence. Huge penalties are handed out to those caught by the Water Police and Fisheries Officers. To gain a Jet Ski Licence, one must first have a Boat Licence or Complete both Licences at the same time.

To gain a Jet Ski Licence you must be 16 yrs of age. The Cert of Competency given to you on the day is valid for 6 months; so the course can be completed by those 15 and a half and the licence issued when you turn 16. #

  • The desired outcome is for everyone to achieve competency, to do this a theory component as well as a practical component will be required to be passed. Robin’s experience as a Mariner and relaxed style of teaching makes this easy. You will have a few laughs as the day goes on.
  • Every opportunity will be given to allow students to achieve the outcomes.

Weather permitting the theory will start the proceedings followed by the water based practical components, if the weather is not in our favour the day can be changed to another when the conditions are more favourable.
